Color of the Year - Inspiration for Fall
It is October and both Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore are revealing their selection for Color of the Year.
Sherwin Williams has unveiled Redend Point SW 9081 (195-C4) as their choice for 2023. The hue appears to have more blush tones, and provides a shift to warmer neutrals for walls, cabinetry, and more.
I always love to see the colors that are inspiring new trends each year. Blush tones can be gender neutral and easy to live with. Paired with rose gold and black – you can create a striking juxtaposition between dark and light.
Benjamin Moore will announce their pick for Color of the Year on October 12th – just a few days from now.
When looking at the forecasts for color trends, I am seeing such an interesting mix in both design and fashion. WGSN and COLORO have announced their picks as well. Click HERE to learn more about these hues.
Warm yellows and teal blues are also trending, with beetroot and fuschia making waves on the runway. Luxe Magazine reports on bringing the outdoors in with a nod to nature that includes charcoal grey and deep browns and other more saturated hues. Click HERE for more inspo.
